DARASA LA HESABU
Huyu ni mwalimu. Yeye ni Mwamerika, anatoka California. Sasa yuko Moshi,
anafundisha hesabu katika shule ya chini. Yeye anafundisha darasa nyingi, lakini
leo anafundisha hesabu za kujumlisha. Anamuuliza Juma, 320 jumlisha 235 ni ngapi?
Juma hajui jawabu lakini anafikiri. Kwanza anajumlisha 300 na 200, ni 500. Halafu
anajumlisha 20 na 30 ni 50, na mwisho anajumlisha 0 na 5 ni 5. Juma anamjibu
mwalimu kuwa jibu ni 555. Kesho mwalimu huyu atafundisha hesabu za kutoa.
Kwa mfano 20 - 5 ni ngapi? Ni 15. Pia atafundisha hesabu za kuzidisha kwa
mfano 3 zidisha kwa mbili ni 6, au 3 mara 2 ni 6 (3 * 2 = 6). Na atafundisha hesabu
za kugawanya, kwa mfano 10 gawanya kwa 2 ni 5 (10/2 = 5). Mwalimu huyu
atawafundisha wanafunzi hesabu za namna mbalimbali.
