The first study guide set is based on the textbook Media Arabic: A Coursebook for Reading Arabic News published by The American University in Cairo Press. These guides also use The Top 1,000 Words for Understanding Media Arabic published by Georgetown and selections from GLOSS: The Global Language Online Support System. There are twenty study guides designed to be used in either a one-semester full course or in two half courses spread over two semesters.
