Introducing People to Each Other (Novice)
Practice on Your Own
- Each person needs to have an alternate identity. You will need a new name, age, place of origin, occupation, family members, etc.
- Depending on how many people are in the conversation section, each person may need to play multiple roles.
- Practice introducing yourself out loud.
Practice in Conversation Session
- Warm‐up introductions. Have each person introduce herself/himself to the group.
- Go around the table and have each person introduce two people to each other. Practice using “this is,” “he is,” “she is.”
- For more practice, make up more new identities.
