Local convenience stores sell all the basic necessities of life including items such as toothpaste and soap. Paper and pens can be purchased at stationery stores. Malls will have specialty stores for books and clothing. Three times a month (at the beginning, middle, and end) special markets called "point markets" are held. These markets feature vendors selling just about everything, including clothing and food.
