Minibuses

While the bus is for long-distance travel, the minibus is for local, in-town travel. In a large town, there are many minibus centers whereas in a small town, there would probably be only one. At most minibus centers, you ask around to find the minibus heading to your destination -- most do not have signs on them with marked destinations. There are no schedules; the minibuses leave when they are full. You can hail them from the road. The driver will lean out the window and call out his destination; if it is the destination you are seeking, you can motion and the minibus will stop for you. You pay cash when you enter; there may be no formal tickets.
