Shopping & Services in South Korea

Household Goods

A variety of shopping opportunities exist in Korea. There are exclusive stores where bargaining would be improper, smaller shops where bargaining might or might not be acceptable, and markets like the Southgate or Eastgate in Seoul where a person can bargain as much as desired. The department stores always give receipts and accept credit cards while the markets do not give receipts and expect cash. Stores are generally open 7 days a week; some are closed on a Monday or Tuesday.
