Eating Out
Eating out provides opportunities to sample all kinds of food in a variety of price ranges. American fast food is a popular choice. In nicer, more traditional places, there are no tips and the atmosphere is rather casual. Few menus will be in English. Someone will greet customers and seat them. When it is time for the bill, sometimes the waiter will bring it to the table and other times the customers will get up and pay as they leave. Receipts are the norm at fast food establishments and pricier restaurants. At smaller establishments, receipts may not be easily available, but the staff will write one out if requested.
