Food Shopping
In every city and town, daily outdoor markets open at around 6:00 a.m. where shoppers can buy fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry and eggs. Markets tend to set up in squares that are surrounded by stores such as the pharmacy, natural food store, dairy, bakery, and seafood shop. In this way, most daily household shopping can be done at one time.
For those not wanting to shop at the market, chain supermarkets are easily accessible. There are also many small, one-stop markets that provide convenience while charging higher prices. Groceries are normally paid for in cash, although some stores accept checks.
