In Belgrade, there are several large health complexes where treatment for all forms of disease takes place. In the suburbs, health centers predominantly diagnose health problems then refer patients to the larger complexes for treatment.
One generally pays a modest fee for a doctor’s appointment. Prescription medicines are also fairly inexpensive. However, when the generic brand is not available, one can expect the imported equivalent to cost more.
