The Post Office
The post office serves as a center for many functions in Luxembourg. The obvious use of the post office is to mail letters and packages and sell stamps. However, the post office also operates in part as a financial institution where one can deposit or withdraw funds, exchange money, and buy lottery tickets. Additionally, there is usually a set of telephones where a customer can make international calls and pay a cashier afterward. All residential and business telephone services originate with the post office. There are two large central offices in the capitol, and branch offices are located throughout the rest of the country.
