Asking for Directions

A person giving directions to another

Although it is acceptable to ask anyone for directions, the best place is at one of the small police stations that can be found everywhere, including in every train station. The police at these stations have excellent maps and are experienced at giving directions to foreigners as well as local residents. These officers can also advise as to the best train routes and fares.
