Trash and Recycling

Trash pick-up is a service that must be paid for. Individual households have trash bins that are set out for collection, whereas large apartment buildings have giant trash receptacles for their residents. Recycling for paper and plastic is currently on a voluntary basis. Each town has a recycling center where batteries and hazardous waste may be turned in.
