Public restrooms are normally quite tidy and clean. One pays the attendant, who then dispenses a number and some tissue. One might carry one's own tissue as a supplement. It is not difficult to find restrooms - there are many throughout the cities and towns. Restrooms in major railways stations are normally open 24 hours.
