Open Markets
The markets take place in an informal fashion, with vendors setting up each day in the designated market place of the city or town. One can find all conceivable merchandise at the market, including new and used clothing, leather goods, furniture, car parts, electronic accessories, jewelry, fabric and handcrafts. In addition, fresh produce is sold, as well as meat, fish and chicken, dairy products and bread.
At the markets, one can find men who will carry loads of merchandise or help move furniture for a small fee. One can also find women in the business of housecleaning or doing laundry in the home.
