It is not a problem to exchange money in Turkey with an abundance of exchange bureaus and ATMs. Most exchange bureaus are located on major streets or at the city bazaar. The best rate of exchange for cash will be found at the exchange bureau. Banks will change both cash and travellers' checks, but the rate is lower, and the commission is higher. There are also numerous ATMs near banks and at stand-alone kiosks. Jewelry stores also offer exchange services.
