When entering the track area, put the ticket through the ticket slot and then retain it because it is necessary to follow the same procedure to exit the subway at one's destination. If the ticket is single use, the machine will keep the ticket as the passenger exits; if, on the other hand, it is a multi-use ticket, the machine returns it until there is no more money on the pass.
