Riding the Bus

A bus stopped at a bus stop

One can purchase a bus ticket or pass from a ticket booth; it is more expensive to pay the driver. A passenger enters the bus through the front doors, then validates the ticket. The ticket-validating machine is located at the front of the bus; inspectors conduct spot checks and fine those with tickets that have not been validated. There are buttons to press to indicated a desired bus stop. Passengers must exit through the rear doors.
