Asking for Directions

A person giving directions to another

In general, people will try to be helpful, and it is acceptable to ask just about anyone for help with directions. Those most likely to know where something is are taxi or rickshaw drivers. Small shopkeepers are also useful within their neighborhoods as are guards or watchman of that neighborhood. Sometimes people will direct you to someone else who will know the proper directions. It is always a good idea to ask someone to repeat directions a second time to make certain they actually know the directions themselves.
