In Greece, it is customary to call a salon ahead of time to make an appointment. It is also acceptable to walk in without an appointment to inquire if a stylist has an immediate opening. Although there are salons all over Greece, the trendier and more high fashion salons are found in the bigger cities. Tipping at the hair salon is welcome but not mandatory.
