The Post Office

A bright yellow mailbox

Given that there are relatively few post offices in Moroccan cities, one can expect the lines to be long. The sole purpose of the post office is to process letters and packages. Valuable packages can be insured, or one can use one of the commercial shipping agencies for larger or more valuable cargo. Mailboxes are generously located throughout the cities where mail is picked up on a daily basis. Stamps can be bought not only at the post office but usually wherever cigarettes are sold. There are no post offices outside the cities in Morocco.
