Young people mostly go to movies, bars, and discos for entertainment. Adults tend to socialize in one another's houses, although in the bigger cities opera, theater, and the ballet are popular. The Croatian National Theater (HNK) in Zagreb has a continuous, wide array of cultural events. Most towns and cities have at least one movie theater where most movies are American, shown in English with Croatian subtitles. Discos or clubs for dancing have live or recorded music and serve drinks only. At the clubs, no identification is required since there is no minimum drinking age.
