    "Burka," a form of veil. Some religiously conservative Pakistani woman wear variations of the 'burka' when out in public. Other Muslim women may wear a scarf or other light headcovering in public, others do not. Stores also sell burkas to woman preparing to make a pilgrimage to Mecca, even though the woman may not usually wear a burka in her everyday life.
