Getting Started

  • Review the dialogues on pp. 191-192.

Practice Exercises

  • Read and memorize the grammatical information in Gaye Chapter XI, pp. 183-184 and pp. 193-195.
  • Listen to the questions and complete the exercises on pp. 196-197.

Conversation Session Preparation

  • Be prepared to discuss things that you no longer do or things you have not yet done. Be ready to ask questions of your classmates.
  • Role play tea time conversation along the same lines as the one between Samba and John in the second dialogue.
