Getting Started

  • Read and listen to the vocabulary in Gaye Chapter IX, pp. 167-168.
  • Look over the dialogues on pp. 160-161 and identify new vocabulary.

Practice Exercises

  • Read, listen to, repeat and memorize the vocabulary in Gaye Chapter IX, pp. 167-168.
  • Read and memorize the information about descriptive adjectives and comparisons of superiority, inferiority and equality on pp. 152-158.
  • Read the information about the superstitutions and beliefs on p. 159.
  • Read and listen to both dialogues in section II, pp. 160-161. Memorize one or two of the parts in the dialogues.
