Turkmenistan is a fascinating and extraordinary country with culture and traditions that span four thousand years. Although the country is changing every day, there is a strong effort to preserve its unique lifestyle and culture.
The Turkmen tradition of hospitality is as strong today as it was one hundred years ago.
The new monuments that indicate a new page of Turkmen history do not compare to the heritage of the 2500 year old mausouleums and ruins that witnessed the histories of several civilizations. Yet, both new and old monuments illuminate the Turkmen experience for visitors and natives alike.
