Five College Everyday Language Series
Everyday Norwegian

Professor Margaret Hayford O'Leary , Professor of Norwegian at St. Olaf College, created the video and exercise content for Everyday Norwegian . Professor Elizabeth Mazzocco, Director of the Five College Center for the Study of World Languages , produced the series with the help of the Center's multimedia production staff. Everyday Norwegian belongs to the Five College Everyday Language Series, which is the web version of the Five College Foregn Language Laserdisc Series. The series is a cooperative enterprise between the University of Massachusetts Press and Five Colleges, Incorporated with financial support from the Charles E. Culpeper Foundation, the Booth-Ferris Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Education.

Everyday Norwegian is divided into six sections, each with its own video and accompanying exercises. Many of the videos have a choice between an authentic audio track and a simplified audio track. Click on a title in the image below to go to a section. Each section is independent of the others, and the sections may be used in any order.
