Water

The subject of water is of great importance in Ghana. Some areas have running water seven days a week, whereas some areas only have running water certain days of the week. Residents are required to store water for the days where there is no running water.

Due to rapid expansion and growth, there are areas where pipelines do not run, a problem which home buyers have to reckon with after buying property. Although this is not the norm, it is an issue in certain neighborhoods. It is possible for certain parts of a city to have unstable water while many villages have dependable running water every day.

When there is no water, residents pump water from huge tanks stored in the homes of entrepreneurs whose business is selling water.
