Twi in Ghana
Although internet activity has increased over the last few years, most families do not yet have internet access at home. To compensate, the cities have a wide range of settings that provide internet access. These range from small rooms with just a few computers to large four story businesses that offer all forms of telephone and computer services. Fees are not high, and charges are by the hour. In some situations, one can buy prepaid time on a card. Generally, refreshments are not served. Larger internet cafes may be open twenty-four hours; however, in general, the cafes are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with some opening as early as 6:00 a.m., and others staying open as late as midnight.
