Banks in Spain are easy to find and have ATMs either inside or very near the bank. ATMs are rarely located far from banks, but one can occasionally find a free-standing ATM in the malls. Money can be changed at either money exchange bureaus or the banks. It is wise to change money at bureaus in the airports since there is no fee. One is advised to always compare the fees and rates of both the bureaus and the banks.

Banks are open from Monday through Friday from 8:00-2:00 p.m. except for one designated day when they stay open until 8:00 p.m.
