Time

A small black digital clock, displaying time in the 24-hour system

Brazil uses the 24-hour clock for appointments, tickets and schedules.

Punctuality is not a matter of great concern. In general, one is expected to be punctual for business appointments; however, arriving late to large parties or social gatherings is not considered rude. One should not be more than 30 minutes late to a small dinner or social gathering.
