Portuguese in Angola
In Angola, there are shops where one can leave clothes to be either laundered or dry cleaned for a relatively high price. These shops may also offer additional services such as mending shoes or duplicating keys.
Even though washing machines are becoming more popular, clothing is normally washed by hand at home. It is either done by a member of the household, a household servant, or someone who comes to the house for the sole purpose of doing the laundry. Whether wash is done by hand or machine, it is always hung out in the sun to dry.
