Restrooms

Trains stations, bus stations, and restaurants usually have public restrooms. In larger areas they will have western toilets, but in smaller places will have traditional flat-to-the-ground toilets. When traveling in very remote places it may be necessary (and appropriate) to ask to use the home facilities of local residents. A good practice is to buy food from a local vendor and then ask where there is a toilet you can use.
