Entertainment

An entry ticket for an event

It is perfectly acceptable to ask someone where good entertainment can be found, as illustrated in the "Where to Go for Entertainment" video clip. One can also consult local newspapers and posters. Going to the movies is a popular past-time. There are cinemas that show either art films or foreign films. Stage productions usually take place during the week, except in big cities where they occur on a nightly basis.

Clubs generally feature a DJ, although on special occasions, there is live music. One can buy drinks and snacks; there is a cover charge and an age limit of 18. Club-goers tend to separate according to age group; some clubs are designed for young people, and others cater to a more mature crowd. Tipping of bartenders is a standard (though not mandatory) practice.
