Asking for Directions
Given that Luxembourg has an economy geared toward tourism, it is always acceptable to ask for directions. In the city, there are tourist information centers where one will be given maps and information regarding tourist sites. In the towns and villages, one can always go to the town hall or ask passersby.
Although both public roads and residential streets are well-marked, it is best to have a map when traveling either by highway or from town to town. This is the best way to determine the most efficient route. Road signs are written in Luxemburgish, German and French.
